The Alps Approach Resource Book: Accelerated Learning in Primary Schools (Accelerated Learning) (Accelerated Learning) by Nicola Call 1 edition - first published in Not in Library. The accelerated learning in primary schools (alps) approach gives the reader an enormous amount of "what to do" and "how to do it" information.

Practising what it preaches, it gives us the big picture first, with mind maps and previews, and then follows up with reviews and summaries, pictures and posters, to help keep things in mind. Conceptual clarity: It is seen more often than not the term Accelerated or Brain Friendly Learning Technique is used in a loose manner to mean ‘any learning activity’ that expedites the learning process.

Accelerated Learning is in many ways simply a road map for those who facilitate learning. It guides you in making the best choices in how to set-up the learning environment, in the design of learning programs to meet the needs of all learners, and in facilitating so that the learning process is.
